The Weslaco Fire Department consists of 73 Commissioned Firefighters within the ranks of 3 shifts.  4 fire stations strategically placed with a city of approx. 45,000 citizens. with over 13,000, calls for service a year.  Fire Department fleet include 3 Engines, 1 Ladder,  6 Medical units, 1 Tanker.  Support apparatus includes 4 brush trucks, 4 Boats, EMTF-11 AmBus and a special events units.
