Mayor David Suarez and the Weslaco City Commission along with Ricardo Rodriguez Hidalgo County District Attorney proclaimed this month as Domestic Violence Awareness Month in Weslaco.
The Weslaco Police Department, Hidalgo County Family Violence Task Force and the Hidalgo County Criminal District Attorney’s Office Victims Unit and Hidalgo County Family Violence Task Forces are working to educate the public about the resources available for victims of domestic violence. We thank all those involved with the WPD who work directly with crime victims to provide them with information and resources.
