Due to the current water supply and drought conditions across the state of Texas, we are encouraging Weslaco residents to conserve water voluntarily. Residents across the state are encouraged to participate in a drought contingency plan to include cutting back on the number of days residents water their lawns.
Other water conservation tips include:
��Only water your lawn between the hours of 10 p.m and 6 a.m.
��Repair leaky faucets and/or pipes
��Wash only full loads of laundry when possible
��Take short showers
��Soak dirty pans instead of scrubbing them with running water
