UPDATE: The city completed the repairs of the water line  

Previous info: The city’s public works department is repairing a broken water line near Westgate and 6th Street in Weslaco. 

The water line connected to the Cornerstone subdivision sustained a sudden and unforeseen break on Friday, September 9. City workers promptly responded and will continue repairs until the line is completely fixed.

Homes located in the surrounding area may experience low to no water pressure throughout Friday, September 9.

The water line repairs remain ongoing throughout the night, and water pressure may be restored by 2 a.m. 

For those experiencing low to no water pressure, we appreciate your patience as public works crews work to expeditiously fix the water main break.
