Public Works held a Touch-A-Truck event on Tuesday May 16, 2023. The family friendly event invited kids of all ages to touch, explore, and climb on Public Works vehicles.
Public Works staff educated children on the uses of trucks, medium, and heavy equipment.
Additionally, Mayor David Suarez and City Commission proclaimed the days May 21 - May 27 Public Works Week.
Public Works professionals focus on infrastructure, facilities and services that are of vital importance to sustainable and resilient communities and to the public health, high quality of life and well-being of the people of The City of Weslaco.
