Weslaco, Texas, October 16, 2023 – The heart of Weslaco is now home to a symbol of safety, progress, and unity with the inauguration of the city's brand new, state-of-the-art Public Safety Building. Spanning an impressive 37,000 square feet, this facility serves as the central command hub for our dedicated police force, heroic firefighters, and the diligent municipal court. It stands as a testament to Weslaco's unwavering commitment to the safety and well-being of its residents.


The undeniable growth Weslaco has experienced in recent years has brought with it increased demands on public safety services. The new Public Safety Building symbolizes the city's resolve to adapt and evolve with the times, ensuring that our residents can continue to live in a safe, thriving community.
