Kicking off the seasonal jubilance is the Weslaco Santa Dash, presented by the Weslaco Chamber of Commerce. Scheduled for December 9 at 5 PM, this lively event invites participants to don their best Santa gear and dash through the city streets, spreading merriment along the way.

Weslaco Lighted Christmas Parade - December 9, 6 PM
Following the Santa Dash, the eagerly anticipated Weslaco Lighted Christmas Parade will illuminate Downtown Weslaco at 6 PM. This year's theme, "A Merry Movie Event," promises a spectacle of creativity and holiday cheer. The parade will showcase over 100 floats adorned with dazzling lights, each inspired by beloved Christmas movies. Don't miss the chance to witness Santa himself make a special appearance amidst the colorful procession. The event will take place in Downtown Weslaco, along Texas Blvd from Pike St. to 6th St. Parking is available along the parade route, with staging on Border and Pike Streets. The parade starts at Pike and Texas, concluding at Texas and 6th.


Christmas Tree and Light Display at Weslaco City Hall - Commencing December 1st
The mesmerizing light display at 275 S. Kansas promises a visual treat for all. Go by and take photos with the Christmas tree and beautiful decorations available throughout the parking lot.

Brandon Figueroa Posada - December 10, 2-9 PM
Weslaco's very own boxing sensation, Brandon "Heartbreaker" Figueroa, is hosting his Annual Christmas Posada on December 10 at Harlon Block Park (1020 W 18th St.). This event promises an abundance of joy with toys for children, complimentary haircuts, delectable free food, train rides, raffles, kiddie rides, moon jumps, and more. It's an all-encompassing celebration for the community, courtesy of Brandon Figueroa and the City of Weslaco.


H-E-B's Feast of Sharing - December 16 11AM - 3PM
The annual HEB feast of sharing in partnership with the City of Weslaco opens its doors for all to enjoy a meal while enjoying local performances. The event is in partnership with the City of Weslaco and will take place at St. Joan of Arc Parish Hall located at 109 S Illinois Ave, Weslaco Tx
